The Bilambil Heights community has had their first taste of things to come, with the team behind a new boutique community in the area offering site tours and insights into the construction process during a community information day.

Developer Christie Leet and the entire Scenic Ridge project team stepped residents through the plans for the 35 residential lots and nine acreage lots, including an upgrade to McAllisters Road, with works starting from next month.

Scenic Ridge is the first project in northern New South Wales for Mr Leet, who has spent the last two decades designing and marketing over 50 projects on the Whitsunday Coast and Hamilton Island. He is also the owner of real estate agency PRD Whitsunday.

Mr Leet told the local crowd at the October 27 event that Bilambil Heights is a wonderful community, and he’s delighted for Scenic Ridge to add further value to the area.

“Over the years we have developed estates of varying ranges – from first home buyer estates, right through to multimillion dollar water frontage enclaves,” he said.

Mr Leet says when he first saw the 38 McAllisters Road site, he was captivated.

In the background you have extraordinary beaches, in the middle – amazing natural waterways and rivers and in the foreground, beautiful green hinterland,” he said.

“All of this is backed by phenomenally strong regional economic growth, providing a quinella of development and investment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else on the Gold Coast.”

Bilambil Heights residents are being urged to visit the Scenic Ridge website and register their details to get development and sales updates sent to their email inbox.

Becoming a part of the local community is a big focus for the Scenic Ridge team, who invited Tennis Terranora to host a sausage sizzle fundraiser during the information day.

Not only were visitors to the Scenic Ridge site well fed with tasty snags, it raised $500 towards a new clubhouse for Tennis Terranora, after fire destroyed their old premises late last year.

Christie Leet said he looks forward to further becoming part of the community over coming months, as well as enjoying his favourite part of the development process.

“It will be heart-warming to see owners of Scenic Ridge come and see their home site each afternoon, taking in the changes and progress that has been made since the day before.

“Then as time goes on we’ll see families living in the estate, children playing and grandparents wandering the streets, truly immersed in the community.”
